As Seen On: Dasha Kim

Meet Dasha Kim. A Sydney based beauty vlogger and make up artist with over 250,000 subscribers on Youtube. This beauty shares her top 3 beauty products, advice for aspiring vloggers and her number 1 style tip below…

Describe your style in 1 sentence: Basic, comfortable yet awesome.

I’m currently based in: Sydney

Gems about my hometown: I’m from Seoul, South Korea. My favourite thing to do in Seoul is to have a beer and fried chicken while sitting in the Han river and enjoy the chill vibe. If you visit Seoul you should definitely do it!

I started vlogging because: I started as a beauty blogger and started making vlogs from 3 years ago. I was kind of bored of making same makeup posts/videos and wanted to try something different.

In my other life I am: Makeup artist.

My favourite thing about vlogging is: I can keep my daily/weekly records in a fun way than just storing pics or videos in my phone and forgetting about it.

My top 3 beauty products at the moment are: L’occitane Shea Butter Balm, Nars Velvet Matte Lips Pencil in Dolce vita, Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil.

If nothing else, all you need is: Food.

My number 1 piece of style advice is: Go simple. Too much is too much.

My favourite piece of jewellery is: My engagement ring from Heidi Gibson. It’s my favourite piece because I never had it before, and it’s just timeless gorgeous piece.

My favourite SIT & WONDER piece is: Traveller's Amulet. It’s a piece that you’d want to wear everyday. From casual top and jeans to a sexy night out dress – just works with anything. I’ve got tonnes of compliments and questions where I got this beautiful piece from my friends 😉

You would be surprised to know: I was raised in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

Advice for aspiring vloggers: Ignore haters, you’re just awesome. And yes, people are interested in what you ate in a day.

My favourite vloggers are: Mila Victoria, Clair Marshall. They’re the most creative and cool people in the world!

Bloggers or vloggers I would like to know more about: I’d like to know more Sydney bloggers/vloggers like the Hoang sisters!
